DIAGNOSIS MURDER

Updated on 08.01.06

Disclaimer : We (the authors) do not own 'Diagnosis Murder', and the characters of Dr Mark Sloan, Lieutenant Steve Sloan, Dr Jesse Travis, Dr Amanda Bentley, Tanis Archer, Norman Briggs, Cheryl Banks, Chief Masters, Captain Newman or any other DM ancillary characters. That privilege belongs to Viacom, CBS, Paramount and the Producers of DM. We simply use the characters for our own (and your) enjoyment and give them back (relatively) unharmed afterward (well, okay, there is one exception ... but, really, can you blame us?)

Other characters DO belong to us (numerous doctors and nursing staff at CGH, peripheral characters etc), and we do NOT write Mary Sue's (I just thought that needed to be established!).

Welcome to the Diagnosis Murder fanfiction page. We have two sections of DM fiction for you to peruse and (we hope), enjoy!

On this page you will find the 'general fiction'. The link at the bottom will lead you to our 'slash' fiction pages.

You may notice (or you may not!) that we have a tendancy to hurt one particular person in all of our stories. We do this physically, we do it emotionally. Heck, we do it any way we possibly can. We get a real kick out of it. We thoroughly enjoy putting one Dr Jesse Travis through as much hell as we possibly can (although you will notice that we (nearly) always put him back together again afterward). It's a failing of ours. We have a yen for angst. And pain. And more angst. And yet more pain. We're not saying it's normal. It may even be a sickness. But we're not looking for a cure.

Please let us know if you enjoy our fiction - we enjoy feedback (as long as it's constructive and doesn't just tell us that you 'hated it' without giving us a reason why!). If you do happen to flame us, then you will be wasting your time because we will not respond. We shall just treat any and all flames with the contempt they so richly deserve. We don't ask all and sundry to send us endless streams of sycophantic praise (unless, of course, you feel that it's absolutely necessary!). We do ask for common sense and common courtesy. Thank you.

Feedback should be sent via the individual author's email (simply click on the relevant author's name and there you go!). Please do let us know if you enjoy these stories! After all, we do it for others' enjoyment as much as our own!

If you have any comments on the webpage (good or bad) or simply want to report a link not working then please email me here

NEW 08.01.06

We have a new author to these pages - welcome, Kaz!!! Also, two new stories from Cass (with any luck!).

New update

'Caring can be contagious' by Kaz.

'A Christmas Miracle' by Kaz

'Storm Front' by Kaz

'Father's Day' by Cass

'Die Laughing' by Cass

I have tried reformatting and indenting and have discovered this program doesn't save indenting! Therefore, please excuse the crappy formatting and I hope it doesn't ruin your enjoyment of the story. If and when my knowledgeable friend visits me maybe he can sort it out!

I haven't worked on 'A Good Day to Die' for a while. I have had to put it aside as it wasn't working for me. 'Pretty Maids' is going to take a while, primarily because I'm writing it when I'm incredibly inspired (and at odd hours of the morning) - and those occasions haven't happened too often lately!

NOTE: Please do not write to us asking us to email you stories which (a) have not been finished or (b) have already been committed elsewhere (such as the story below which clearly states such). The fiction will be finished as and when real life allows us to finish it and we do not send individuals stories which are going to appear on our website anyway! This would only serve to negate the reason for the website! PLEASE, be patient!!!

As for stories commited to zines, then those stories will ONLY be available in the zines mentioned and to read them, you will have to buy the zine. OK?

This has been a public service announcement (so please take note!).

Thank you.
